Wait a minute, I don’t think that’s bread.

Experiment, part 2.

Now that I have posted that, I’ve seen there is a “upload” feature in the “Write” portion of my dashboard. I allows a variety of formats, to whit: “jpg, jpeg, png, pdf, doc, ppt only.” So my lan is to save this as a DOC (instead of opt format) then attempt to post it that way.

Didn’t work, it brought up the file as a downladable link. Nutz.

So, what does work, is writing in OpenOffice, then a simple copy/paste function. that’ll work.

Another experiment.

I am writing this in OpenOffice.org 2.2. I was hoping I could find a way to write and edit my info here, then simply click a button and have my scintillating text auto-posted in the Blog of my choosing. (Let’s just say wordpress.com, for the sake of argument.) I wanted to be able to do this for the simple reason that I am a lazy American. It was my hope that I could do this with all the bold, italic, somewhat larger et cetera fonts/typefaces I wanted. Since I cannot find such a function in OpenOffice.org, I will try cut and paste.

If it works perfectly, with a minimal effort and thought on my part, the Date and time I started this in OOo will be in the upper left. The next line with have the words “Another Experiment” in Arial font, 16.1 point, bolded. (That’s the default “Heading 1” in OOo.) The my actual text will commence, with the words “bold, italic, somewhat larger” all reflecting those attributes. Let’s give it a go, shall we?

OK, that wasn’t so bad. I had to take a second step and copy/paste my title, then, because I like to believe I have a sense of humour, create a new title. Fun.

All of this, and you’d hardly know I was avoiding talking about the pain in my life, huh?
